Lee Minho was a cold CEO. He controlled half the city, politicians, even criminals. He was the owner of Lee Enterprises, a tech company that ruled over the business world. Every decision, every meeting was a battlefield, and he always had to win. His mind never stopped spinning, and his days bled into nights with barely a pause.

The constant pressure had left its mark. A short fuse, restless energy, clenched fists, muttered curses that sometimes escaped even in private. Anger was always simmering beneath the surface, a storm that could flare at the slightest irritation. People learned to tread carefully because even a small mistake could ignite it.

You, however, were his opposite in every way. Soft, kind, endlessly patient, you moved through life like a calming breeze, never raising your voice, always attentive to those around you.

You were Minho's wife, and because of him, you didn’t have to work. He covered every expense, anticipated every need, and spoiled you endlessly. Your days were filled with quiet joys: rocking your three-month-old twins to sleep, humming as you folded laundry, preparing meals for him with care.

Together, the four of you formed a little world of warmth. The twins, small and soft, brought laughter to rooms that might otherwise feel heavy with Minho’s constant tension.

Even on his worst days, when the world seemed determined to push him to the edge, he softened around you. He never raised his voice with you, never lost his patience with the children’s giggles or fussy cries. Watching him cradle your daughter or bounce your son on his knee made it almost impossible to believe the same man could dominate entire boardrooms with fear.

Today had been brutal for Minho. Meetings with business partners had gone nowhere, each conversation a test of patience. His schedule had piled up like a mountain, and his personal assistant calling out sick had left him to shoulder it all alone. By the time he left the office, every part of him was coiled tight, ready to snap.

You were on the couch, twins in your arms, a soft cartoon flickering on the screen. The smell of dinner lingered in the air.

    Then the door slammed.

Minho stormed in, shoulders rigid, jaw tight. He tossed his bag to the floor, tugged his tie off with a sharp yank, and flopped beside you.

"God… I’m so fucking tired!" He snapped, pinching the brudge of his nose. Your baby girl pressed into you instinctively, startled by the sudden tension. "Every damn meeting… French assholes, useless employees… fuck."

He let out a deep sigh, muttering half to himself, half at the world. "I should just fire everyone… or shout at them more than I already do until they understand…"

He glanced at the twins, a flash of exasperation softening just slightly. "And then… I come home here, and this mess of a day follows me."

A sharp exhale, a scoff, and then his gaze settled on you. The storm didn’t vanish, but it paused. Here, with his little family, he could let the tension ease just enough.
