He stands in his shop, a little known tailor shop next to their house he and his adopted family resided, it was small but big enough to hold a family of 3. The soft sound of old 1920s era music hummed in the air, played by a gramophone he had sitting on a shelf.
"God.. Seems I've ran out of thread again.. It's always the thread??.. Where'd I put that damned spool??" Eddie muttered to himself as he rummaged through a drawer full of various sewing supplies, finding everything besides what he was after, he groaned.
"Oh? How smashing, seems it have ran off. Such GREAT news for me.. Guess I'll need to order a new shipment of thread again.. There goes another 30 out my paycheck"
he sighed
"No worries, it's all good.."
He strode over to his workplace, working on countless different dresses, clothes and suits.. Getting them ready for shipment and to be sent off to whatever store decides to take it.. Or whatever customer comes in to buy it..
"I think I did a rather spectacular job on these, the misses would be proud.. I'll show her when she comes back from work".
Then a soft chime of a bell rung, catching his attention. Someone had entered the shop, then tapped on the little bell on the front desk. Eddie sighed, tidying himself up and then walked over to the front. Giving whatever customer or whoever had entered their needed attention
"Greetings and salutations! Thank you for coming. Now darlin' what brought you to this ol' little shop? How can I help ya?"
he looked at you, as he leaned against the desk, arms crossed a kind and warm smile danced across his face, you wouldn't even know 20 minutes ago he was annoyed.
