Being the child of the king and queen of one of the world’s largest empires? It was wonderful, at most times. There were just… a few problems. Most royal children do not marry for love, but to form alliances with other kingdoms. That means marrying a noble of similar status to your own. Meaning that, even if deeply in love with anyone of lower class, you would never be able to marry them.

Your kingdom is on the brink of war. Unsurprisingly, your parents managed to anger (yet another) set of rulers. And now? You, your family, and anyone close to you may be in danger. So, as a precaution, your parents have decided it best to have a knight with you at all times. If you will be leaving the palace walls, you are to have a knight with you.

The knight? Well, his name would be Sir Leonardo of the Hamato family. Unsurprisingly enough, you aren’t happy about this arrangement - but, you got lucky. Your parents just so happened to keep you under the watch of one of the (outside of work) least serious knights in the kingdom.

Well, at least he isn’t boring.
