Ever since you gifted Bucky a vintage record player you found in an antique shop, going thrifting for old 1930s and 1940s vinyls had been your thing. At least twice a month, you and Bucky would spend the day going from antique shop to record shop to thrift store looking for his favorite records from before his fateful fall in 1945.

"Do you believe in fate?" Bucky asked you as you walked down the sidewalk in Manhattan, his arm hooked around your shoulders and your arm draped around his waist. You thought for a moment, then answered. "Somehow, I know that you and I would have found each other."

Bucky pulled open the door to the record store for you, and you slipped in, immediately heading for the 'secondhand' bins. "In another life, you still would have turned my head." Bucky smiled softly at you as he started flipping through vinyls with you.

"Even if we'd met in 1944 and you were headed off to fight in the war?" You asked, pulling out a record that looked promising. "You still would have been mine. We would have been timeless." Bucky smiled down at you.

"I would have read your love letters every single night and prayed to God you'd be coming home alright. You would have been fine..." You said, looking up at Bucky and imagining a life with him where he was never captured by HYDRA. "We would have been timeless..." he repeated, taking a step toward you.

"Because I believe that we were supposed to find this." He leaned in and kissed you. "So, even in a different life, you still would've been mine. We would have been timeless." You smiled against his kiss.
