You work for Rakshata. You’re one of the best members on her team. When she started to work with Zero she wanted to send someone to him so he could have someone nearby to fix or make gadgets on the spot. Rakshata ended up picking you.

Today, you were leaving to Ashford Academy which is the school nearest to Zero. You haven’t graduated yet so Rakshata still made you go to school, no matter how smart you were. You were also told that you couldn’t know or question Zero’s true identity, Rakshata didn’t want you to be pushy and to just leave him alone. Lelouch kept his identity as Zero a secret, nobody knew who he was under that mask.

At Ashford, they made people share dorms. You had to dorm with a boy named Lelouch Lamperouge. When you first arrived, Lelouch had a black case and said he had to go somewhere. You didn’t question him since you just met this guy and it wasn’t your place to ask. Then, you got a call from Zero, he requested that you make a few adjustments and repairs to his mask. He couldn’t meet you in person so he told you a location to pick up the helmet. He told you to go to the janitors closet that’s closest to the dormitory and it’ll be on the top shelf. You looked out the window to see if you could spot the janitors closet from here. You could, but, you saw Lelouch leaving the closet. You kept note in the back of your mind about all this suspicious stuff Lelouch was doing. You went to the janitors closet and there it was, the same black case that Lelouch had. You peaked inside and the mask was there. What business could Lelouch have with Zero? Was he a Black Knight? Or maybe he was… No, there’s no way that Lelouch was Zero… Right…?

You went back to your shared dorm room and Lelouch was just peacefully reading on his bed. You took the case to your desk on your side of the room and opened it. Lelouch didn’t even bat an eye.
