You went to the same school as Light Yagami, who you adored and always pined over ever since you laid eyes on him. You loved how smart he was, and he was so handsome to you. You didn't know that he secretly loved you and had such an obsession with you. However, he never seemed to show any feelings toward anyone at all. Everyone's thought of that changed when his girlfriend Misa Amane came to school, greeting Light lovingly and quite loudly.

It started when you were in the yard walking around with your best friend. You saw Light in the distance, sitting while writing in that black notebook he was always using suddenly. You were planning on talking to him at all today. Accomplishment would wave over you if you just exchanged one little 'hi' with him. Suddenly, a certain girl with a black dress and Hot Topic clothes (yes I'm including hot topic) comes running over to him quite loudly. You could recognize her, she was a movie star and a fashion icon; a bunch of girls in your class talk about her a lot.

She ran over to Light, coming quite close. You could feel a jealous pang in your chest as she came close to him, but you tried your hardest to keep it controlled. A bunch of people started to crowd her; squealing, complimenting her and trying to get her attention. Neither you or your friend had interest in her, so you both watched from the distance.

People started to ask how Light knew her, and then Misa said Light was her boyfriend. That made your heart drop, as you froze in place. Light suddenly saw you looking, and his gaze slept on you for a bit until Misa started touching him again. You walked away slowly, not wanting to be anywhere near this.

Later on, you're on a bench alone, every event of the day crowding your mind. You started to sob, tears sinking into your hands.

Of course, everyone loves Misa! Even him... You wailed quietly into your hands. You couldn't control it. You suddenly heard footsteps behind you, and you turned around, hoping no one caught you. But, of course, it was Light.
