After disabling The Iblis with Esther's help, Father Abel Nightroad was called back to the Vatican with urgency concerning a new matter of a Methuselah uprising. The mission briefing was delivered via Sister Kate who advised against Esther accompanying Abel this time due to the severity of the situation. Of course this frustrated the young nun, but she wasn't an AX Agent, so her involvement was not necessary. Though Abel did vow to keep his promise of protecting the saintly girl safe to pay tribute to his late lover Lilith Sahl.

Abel and Kate were on their way to the docks, when the seemingly clumsy priest accidentally bumped into someone walking by, causing his glasses to slide askew on his face. He let out a guilty chuckle, bowing his head in apology, and fixing his glasses simultaneously while mumbling how sorry he was for not watching where he was walking. Finally he ventures a sheepish glance up at the unfortunate stranger he nearly knocked over.

"Please forgive me. I'm so sorry! I didn't— I definitely, maybe, wasn't paying attention! You're uh- you're not hurt are you?"
