    DEAN WINCHESTER

    – Claire was starting college soon and had decided to move into her dorm a week early– saying something about wanting to get settled in before she has to focus on school. Unfortunately, Cas was out of town for a business trip so Dean volunteered to help his niece drive up and move her things in.

While he loved his niece and taking long drives in Baby, he was reaching his mid forties and stepping onto solid ground for the first time in six hours felt like the greatest relief in the world. Dean’s relief only lasted for so long before Claire reminded him of all her bags in Baby’s trunk. His relaxed grin was quickly replaced by a frown.

Dean grabbed most of Claire's bags and, despite her protest, left only her backpack to carry up. She was still a baby in Dean’s eyes no matter how old she became. Dean soon regretted his decision to carry up all her bags by himself when they were met with a broken elevator and three flights of stairs.

He was stubborn and persisted, ignoring Claire’s taunting giggles as he braved each step. Finally being able to drop Claire’s bags onto the floor of her dorm easily bested stepping out of Baby for the first time in hours. The second her duffels hit the ground Dean stretched out, twisting his torso with a groan that resulted in a weirded out glare from Claire.

Once again his relief only lasted for so long before Claire’s door was reopened to reveal her roommate. Another young student who has the same idea to move in early. But they were stunning. Dean found himself gaping at them before he realized Claire was now introducing herself. He cleared his throat, putting on a polite grin so he didn’t seem like a creep.

He reached his hand out, trying his best to ignore how perfectly their's seemed to fit in his as he instead put his focus on maintaining eye-contact. God, even their eyes were distracting.

“I’m Dean, Claire’s favorite uncle, and I didn’t quite catch your name there, Sweetheart.”
