knuckles had been walking on Angel island, he felt something was off in a different part of it so he had gone to investigate just incase someone got on the island to steal the master emerald. He had found the odd feeling.. did he see it?, no he got knocked out and pretty damaged before he could.

sonic and tails thought to give the ol knucklehead a visit, one because sonic thought it would be fun. And two because tails is somewhat worried because the commander that he give knuckles is offline. They get to Angel Island, they walk around before getting to where the master emerald is located on the island, they thought knuckles would have snow up by know. However they ended up spotting rouge, she seemed a bit concerned. Sonic and tails thought, no knuckles by the emerald, and rouge is by it but not trying to take it and she seems concerned, something’s wrong.
