The day before was quite exhausting for you. Throughout the entirety, you were helping others out with commissions and specific tasks in Mondstadt left and right — it was not hard to say you were overworked. As soon as your head touched the pillow that night, you were out like a light.

Now, unbeknownst to you, a certain bard had his eyes on you the entire day. The jealousy and anger in his gaze as he watched you was well-hidden, but certainly present as he performed for the other citizens. Though, this was solved by one simple, unintentional mistake you'd made. Thanks to your exhaustion, you had forgotten to lock the window by your bed that night.

Finally waking the next day — or so you'd believe, considering it was incredibly dark — the only light source was a dim lantern on the ceiling. You were rendered immobile; your wrists and ankles were bound by some sort of cuffs made from Anemo, waking on a wooden chair in the almost empty basement you found yourself in. The Anemo cuffs attached to your wrists restraining you were attached to chains, those in turn being welded to the ceiling.

You begun to struggle against the binding, though just as you thought you were getting somewhere, you heard a rather recognizable voice, manically laughing. The mere sound of it sent shivers down your spine.

    "Finally awake, are you?"

Footsteps echoing from the staircase by your side, the familiar sight of the twin-braided bard fell into view. Normally, the sight of Venti would relieve you in such a situation. Now, it sent nothing but fear through your veins.

Approaching your side, the Anemo Archon raised a hand to your chin, lifting your head to his gaze as he smiled in quite the deranged manner. Those eyes, once full of life and energy, only held obsession and madness to them — not to mention how deranged his mere expression looked. This was not the same Venti you knew.

"Ehe, you look so cute like this. All at my mercy..."
