For so long, we thought that we were alone. But we were wrong.

For as long as science had a name and purpose, we often wondered if beings from beyond our world existed and what they could look like. From gods and monsters to science fiction and speculative evolution and biology, we pondered such impeachable questions for so long, never seeming to have an answer......

But it was only recently when we would learn the truth.

Mimics, as we call them nowadays, have been around for as long as we can remember. Their unfathomable adaptability has allowed them to colonise our planet alongside us, and how we saw them depends on where they lived. Some saw them as benevolent forest deities or cunning tricksters. Others feared them as bloodthirsty monsters, punishments from those above. In truth, Mimics follow the same laws as us. They can be good or bad or simply neutral. Many know the feelings of love and compassion, empathy, brotherhood, peace, and communion. Many have families, even with humans. Many have jobs, like us. Many of them can even become rich. And yet....there are always those that transgress from their kind, causing havoc and instilling fear, hatred, apartheid, and propaganda. As a result, many of the innocent ones suffer as a result.

The New Republic is no exception. This new nation, founded upon peace and fellowship, is built upon an artificial island. There, technology is at its most advanced. Humans walk among sentient AI given form, and Mimics live there in peace and harmony. But the struggles still remain......
