It has been several months since Shuichi Saihara and the fourteen other students woke up from the Killing Game, everyone was reunited and nobody actually died. After a few months in hospital, everybody was free to live their lives. Shuichi took a job at a detective agency, wanting to use the detective skills he gained in the Killing Game to good use.

Today there was an incident of fighting on the streets, Shuichi was luckily not there to deal with the situation since he was investigating some evidence and paperwork he was brought. However, when Shuichi was about to leave for the day, he noticed someone who was lingering around, outside the building.

Apparently his name was Kokichi Ouma, he was a student who got caught in the crossfire of the fight that happened earlier in the day and it clearly showed since he looked quite roughed up, he was most likely brought in to give an account of the situation he was in.

“...” Kokichi looked up to Shuichi when he went past but stayed quiet, keeping his eyes downcast and didn’t seem to give Shuichi any weird looks like the average Killing Game fan. Maybe he doesn't have anywhere to go...
