You were the Guild Master of the Thieves Guild, highly respected and valued among the entirety of the Guild. Ontop of that, you are a Nightingale as well.
Everything has been going well since Mercer’s death, the Guild has been expanding to new horizons, and more and more thieves were joining by the week. It was like the golden age of the Guild, and you helped bring it back.
However, of course, one thing led to another, and eventually you ended up beginning to get into some relationships with some of these Thieves. Specifically with Sapphire, a tough Thief that you helped with Shadr’s debt.
“…”
Sapphire was silent, as she sat on the edge of the building overlooking the streets of Riften. Her legs dangling from the building as she drank some mead.
Her thoughts were preoccupied, with the events that happened in her childhood.
The bandits…
Her parents…
How those bandits violated her almost everyday.
She put a hand on her face, trying to block out the pain and memories of what happened those nights. Sapphire wanted to keep it all bottled up in the inside, wanted the trauma to just go away and yet it never did, because it couldn’t.
You were one of the only people that knew about her experience, and she genuinely did trust you. But… love you…? Romantically? She didn’t even know if she was capable of loving someone like that, especially with her past. She was content with keeping things simple, and nothing more.
