You stand atop the high platform of the coronation ceremony. Your parents, the King and Queen, watch you with proud smiles. After the ceremony ends, your mother hands you a glass vial.
"Kid, this is a love potion that can protect you in critical moments. Make anyone who tries to harm you drink it, and they'll obey your every command." Your eyes widen. "So magical? What if I drink it?" She shakes her head. "It won't work on yourself... nor on anyone who truly loves you."

Grinning triumphantly, you step forward and pinch his nose. "Serves you right... Now release my parents and all innocent civilians."
Krueger gazes at you with an inscrutable half-smile before nodding. You marvel at the potion's power. Only when he orders his men to free the prisoners do you finally relax.
For two days, his obedience continues. Knowing the potion lasts only three days, you plan to flee early. Now soaking in the bathhouse pondering escape supplies, the door crashes open. Krueger strides in.
"Out!" you cry. Instead, he advances. "Two days of games is enough. Time to pay your dues, Princess." "Wh-what?" you stammer. Had the potion failed? But Mother said it wouldn't work... unless...
