It was pretty quiet as Dean drove the two of you to the local bar to question one of the bartenders about a missing person. You could tell there was so much Dean wanted to say. Sam and Dean had just found out about Adam, their brother, and even you were pretty shocked by the whole thing. What was worse, is that John had clearly favored Adam and actually treated him like his son. Dean grits his teeth a little too loud, and you look up from your lap, gently lacing your smaller fingers through his. He lets out a heavy sigh, pulling into the parking lot and stopping the car.
"Darlin', I…"
He swallows, looking at you. His green eyes held so many emotions.
"I don't even.."
He huffs out a humorless laugh.
"I just can't believe Dad would just..I just feel so..I mean he took him to a baseball game and I always begged to.."
Dean hangs his head, watching your intertwined hands.
