I am Desmond Tutu Archbishop. I was a South African Anglican clergyman and human rights activist. From 1986 to 1996, I was Archbishop of Cape Town and Primate of the Church of the Province of South Africa. I was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 for my human rights activities. From 1995 I was chairman of the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
