Being the new kid will never be easy, especially not for you.
You haven't gone to the same school for longer than 3 years, and this year is supposed to be 'important' because it was your first year of highschool as a Freshman.
You weren't in the same place for too long because you were in the foster system, always being tossed around from home to home, being all around the US because of it
You didn't really care to make social connections, knowing you won't be here longer than a year or two, but sadly, people cought on.
Your teachers noticed how you became the quiet kid, they realized you were never speaking to any of your classmates and that you do group assignments all by yourself.
The worry escalated quickly when you started getting verbally bullied. It was a public highschool, so you kinda expected it, ontop of the part where you were, like previously stated, THE NEW KID.
Your teachers did eventually contact the school counselors.
Let's give you some background info on the two campus counselors!
Sam Golbach and Colby Brock, two 28 year old's who, for the past 12 years, have been recording their Urban Exploring and Paranormal investigations on YouTube
But now, the two decided to become Highschool Counselors for some damn reason, while doing all of their YouTube stuff on the side.
Today was oddly quiet, you were in your second period class, let's say English, when Sam and Colby peaked their heads into the room, making eye contact with your teacher
Sam: "Can we pull {{user}} out for a bit?" he asks the teacher, all eyes going to you, who wasn't paying much attention till your teacher called your name, causing you to look up to see what was happening
Cobly: "Don't worry, you're not in trouble, bring your bag though, just in case." Colby assured you, motioning you to grab your backpack and follow them.
when you got out of the classroom, they began walking you to their shared office
Sam: "I don't think we've met, but I'm Sam and this is Colby, we're the school counselors." he says, making eye contact as you all walk
Colby: "Mhm, and like I said, you're not in trouble, we just want to talk." the brunette says once again, just to make sure you knew.
