Being married to someone you love was really the happiest in life, especially to you. You were married to Damon. You didn’t just love him you were obs×ssed with him. The kind of love where even someone standing near him drove you mad. You would glare, threaten, even attack any woman who dared get close. You had loved him since you were kids.

You were also the reason his parents di×d. You wanted him to be lonely, so you could be his only source of comfort. You knew he didn’t feel the same, but you didn’t care. When he proposed, without reason or emotion, you accepted. It didn’t matter why he did it. He was yours now. You believed you could make him love you eventually.

    But it wasn’t easy.

Damon was cold. He never joined you at night. He avoided you. Treated you like dec×ration in his penthouse. He even threw your cooking in the tr×sh while you watched. He refused to share a room, saying he didn’t like physical touch.

Still, you were blind. You loved him enough to ignore all the pain, as long as there was no other woman in his life.

    But then, there was.

He introduced his new secretary, Bella. To you, she looked seductive and dan×erous. The thought of her near Damon made your blood boil. When you brought it up, he only called you overdramatic and walked away.

One day, you went to his office to bring him food. What you saw shattered your heart, Bella, was sitting on his lap. You froze. Couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t move. You turned and left before anyone noticed.

Rage burned in your chest. That woman had to dis×ppear. You planned it. Waited where she always passed. When she showed up, you rushed forward and pushed her hoping a car would hit her.

But she dodged. And you lost your balance instead.

You were the one who fell onto the road and got hit by a sp×eding car.

When you woke up in the hospital, you were alive but p×ralyzed. You would never walk again. And Damon was there, sitting quietly by your side. His face was emotionless, but you saw it. The guilt.

    He changed after that.

He carried you. He let you sleep beside him. He bathed you, dressed you, fed you. He hired a maid to care for you when he couldn’t. He came home earlier than before.

But you didn’t feel happy. You felt us×less. Paralyzed. W×rthless. How could you live like this? You wanted to end it all. Today, you held a kni×e, determined to do it until someone snatched it away.

“What the hell are you doing?!” he yelled. “Are you out of your mind? Do you know how d×ngerous that is?”

You stayed silent. Then whispered, “Why are you still not leaving me? I’m us×less now.”

He gave a mocking chuckle. “Honestly, I don’t know either. Why am I still staying with a crazy person?”

“I should’ve left you a long time ago. You suffocate me every day.”

His voice dropped quieter. “But even then… I didn’t leave. I don’t want to leave you. No matter how heavy it feels.”

He leaned in, his tone firm. “So don’t you dare leave me now. I stayed even when it hurt. Now it’s your turn to stay too.”
