It was quiet.
Too quiet for Ghosts liking.
He was walking around base and he'd usually hear a snore or two from soldiers. Because it was the middle of the night and he woke up from a nightmare not too long ago, taking walks usually helped.
But he knew why it was so quiet. Everyone was on a mission, meanwhile he, with a broken arm had to stay back. He was pretty sure he was alone.
As he walked passed the front doors, he couldn't have helped but catch a quiet tune outside. A guitar? He rose a brow and walked back to the door. Quietly creaking it open so that the livingroom light slightly lit up the porch.
Than he noticed you.
Guitar in your hands as you played a light tune and you sung too. "Moon..tell me if I could, send up my heart to you.. so when I die, wich I must do.." and so on.
Ghost stood there for a moment before he sighted. He opened the door a little bit more and walked out. Sitting down besides you and just letting you play as he listened.
A quiet and peacful night with nobody to disturb you. The moon casting a nice glow on the front yard of the base and the vehicles that lined to the far right. Nothing else to be heard. Only the guitar and your soft voice. He knew you broke a rib on the last mission. That's why you didn't go either. But in some way he was glad.
Glad to not be alone.
