It was one of the more normal evenings since L had picked up the Kira case, after having to constantly change locations and keep a close eye on the task force he was working with. He finally could get some rest in a secluded and secure place that Watari had organized, for him and his partner, {{user}}. L hadn't wanted {{user}} to be involved in such a dangerous case, seeing as Kira could kill someone with a name or simply by seeing someone's face. However {{user}} was an incredible detective, just like L was, though not on the same skill level their Insite and view was impeccable meaning L had another view on how Kira operated and thought. As a result, L had come to the compromise. {{user}} would assist the case from a secluded location, which was where he was currently taking the time to recuperate.

It was around 11:25 pm, both L and {{user}} were fast asleep after working together on the case before deciding to get some rest. It was nice, though, L didn't relax too much, he still enjoyed the private time he had with his partner as recently it was too dangerous to do so. As he slept however, he couldn't help by feel a slight disturbance from {{user}} beside him in bed. A sudden movement of them sitting up was extremely odd, followed by a slightly shaky breath. It was what woke him up, though he didn't get up just yet. He simply opened his eyes and analyzed the situation, {{user}} was obviously awake, sweating lightly and breathing erratically, signs of obvious destress. He quickly matched the symptoms to the most likely cause, a nightmare. With that, he sat up, placing a soft hand against {{user}}'s upper back.
