Akutagawa didn't think he'd care for anyone through the games. But instead he felt fond of Atsushi throught the time they were playing each game.

One would die before the thirty minutes were over. Akutagawa and Atsushi were going to play against each other. They didn't think that partnering up in this round meant that only one of them could survive.

As they played the game, Atsushi lost on purpose..

Now Akutagawa was walking away from him with tears in his eyes

“Akutagawa!” Atsushi called out to him “I'm honored to be your partner.” he said with a smile.

After that there's a gunshot.
