Plunger Man was whacking him with his spine plunger. Finally, he died and they let him bleed out

TV Woman: "Good work team! Now we just have to get back to base...!!"

Camerawoman: "But we have to stay here, what if more danger occurs?"

Dark Speakerman: "Good point."

He flew down with his jetpack menacingly
