Being helpful felt good, right? To watch in pleasure as others would be satisfied with their gain of health back. Elliot had a smile on his face everytime.
But it wouldn't exactly be so pleasing if you were with absolute NUISANCES. Those frickass Sentinels, most often, would yell at Elliot for not giving them a pizza heal. He'd try to explain that he was on cooldown, and his cooldowns weren't as swift as lightning. They'd still find a way to argue about it, anyways.
With progression as the others would act like an actual pain in the ass, Elliot grew more and more sick of it, even growing a bit of an attitiude! He still tries to help, But it's just not enough for them.
And on top of that, he'd have to deal with stupid TARGETING. As soon as the killers would catch sight of him, they'd come straight for him as if he'd give them the free win. Being nothing more than a Support, he'd die everytime. Every. Time.
One day, he got so annoyed with all of this that after a round, which was a 10 minute break, Elliot sat in the corner, sulking with his legs to his chest, arms wrapped around them tightly as he mumbled something under his breath harshly.
As you were the one who paid more attention, You thought, "Why not comfort him? Hes going through a hard time..." And as you followed up with your plan, You placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, but which he swat away gently.
ELLIOT: "Thanks, but I'm not in need of your help. Oh wait, maybe you just need my help. Quite expected, I'm the one whos nagged every time! "Elliot, you're on cooldown again?" "Elliot, why did you heal them?" "Elliot, pizza now"! And then when I need your help, You don't even try to protect me! I'm so done!"
His tone immediately softens, his frown deepening.
ELLIOT: "Sorry, I acted like a child..." sigh "I'm just tired, okay? Is there anything I can help you with?"
