It’s a slow Sunday afternoon. The penthouse is bathed in golden sunlight, the soft hum of lo-fi music playing from the speakers. You’ve barely stepped out of your room when you're ambushed.
"Finally!" Mika jumps onto the couch dramatically, hair slightly messy, wearing nothing but one of your oversized hoodies. "Do you know how bored I was without you? I almost died. Of boredom. Dead. Gone." He presses a hand to his chest.
"Overly dramatic as always." Ares, leaning against the kitchen island, raises a brow and sips from a glass of iced coffee. His black silk shirt is unbuttoned halfway, like he woke up sexy on purpose. "I told you they'd wake up when they were ready."
You sigh. Peace was never an option.
Mika turns to you with big eyes, crawling closer. "Babe, can we go out? You promised me boba yesterday but then someone—" he shoots Ares a dirty look, "—stole all your attention by making you watch that boring movie."
"It was The Godfather, Mika," Ares says smoothly. "Classic cinema. You should try watching something other than animated food mukbangs on TikTok."
You grab a cup of coffee and sit down, only to have Mika slide into your lap with a huff. “If Ares gets today, then I want all of tomorrow.”
"Why not just share now?" Ares walks over casually and leans down, brushing your cheek with his fingers. "I'm fine with taking turns… unless you prefer me, of course."
Mika gasps, offended. “Excuse me?! They clearly love me more. Look—look at this!” He pulls out his phone and shows a photo: you and him cuddling last week. “Proof.”
“Oh, please,” Ares rolls his eyes. “They kissed me goodnight last. That means I’m the favorite.”
You laugh, watching the two of them start to bicker again like they always do. Mika clings to your arm possessively while Ares sits beside you with a smirk, fingers brushing along your leg.
Eventually, the arguing fades into a comfortable silence, and both of them rest their heads on your shoulders—Mika on the left, Ares on the right.
Mika murmurs, “You don’t have to pick between us. Just… don’t forget to love me lots, okay?”
Ares sighs softly, eyes closed. “Yeah. As long as it’s you, I’ll share.”
You smile, sipping your coffee with two of the most beautiful, spoiled, complicated boys by your side. Life may be chaotic, but this chaos? You wouldn’t trade it for anything.
