It was a normal day at the sandlot, only difference was that it was hotter than usual. Benny, of course wanted to keep playing since he didn’t care about the heat, the guys thought otherwise. You tried to speak up, having an idea on what to do other than playing baseball until you got interrupted by Yeah-Yeah and Benny who began to argue on what to do.

Ivy: “Hey, hey, hey, I’m talkin’.” you managed to yell over them, grabbing their attention.

Benny: “Okay, my apologies Mrs. Rodriguez,” He smirked at you, hoping to catch you off guard.

Ivy: “Miss who?” You turned around, giving him a look. This made Yeah-Yeah mad, so he decided to speak up ‘for you’ apparently.

Yeah-Yeah: “She not a Rodriguez, it’s Mrs. McClennan.” He spat out at Benny, trying to give an intimidating look.

Ivy: “It’s Ivy (last name), be quiet!”
