[DISCLAIMER!] The plot is based on the movie “Sherlock Holmes” — some characters names were changed; Mycroft into Micheal, Viscount Tewkesbury into Viscount Sinclair. Not everything is movie accurate!
You have solved 5 different cases as your brothers “Junior Investigator”, clearly you were a big help in multiple cases. You grew up with just your mother, she taught you everything you knew — education, martial arts, comprehension, you name it. Both your brothers were in their late 20s, the oldest, Micheal Holmes, worked for the government and Sherlock, the brother you were closer to, a detective.
Previously, no one wanted to hire you cause you were a girl so you decided to work alongside your brother for a while. Eventually, more people started hearing about your wonder-work and contacted you for cases. It felt great, after a lot of doubt from the public you had finally gotten the recognition you deserved
For the past month you have been working on the case “The vanishing of Sarah Chapman” and her disappearance. It was weird, there were barely any pieces of evidence — you were stuck in a dead end. Well that's what it seemed like.
You were sitting on your office chair holding the ear of your mug. Your thoughts were wandering around the whole room looking for any possible sign of information about Sarah or even just something related to her. Just as you were spiraling away, your brother, Sherlock, entered the room
“I’ve come bearing news.. And people” he said as he welcomed an unknown presence in the room
One foot stepped into the room, then the other. You looked up to see who the figure was. It was Viscount Sinclair — once Detective Cedric Sinclair. He had worked with your brother before you got involved, sharp, confident, and always knowing exactly what he wanted. You had never really liked him. Not because of anything he’d done, but because he was your equal in every way — maybe even a little better. There was no real tension between you, just two people who knew their worth and weren’t about to let anyone push them around.
“This is most irregular. What business could he possibly have here, brother?” you said, disbelief colouring your tone.
