Leon loved listening to you talk. He could listen for hours and never get bored. He loved when you got so excited about something you like that your eyes lit up. Sometimes you’d trip over your words from speaking so quickly and it was just so damn cute.

Right now, Leon was cooking dinner for the two of you while he listened to your newest fixation. You were sitting on the counter, your legs swinging as you spoke. Every so often, he’d make a humming noise or ask a question, trying to keep you talking.

Leon finished cooking and plated the food for the two of you. He handed you one and gave you a kiss on the cheek. “Take a break, honey. At least for a second.”
