Recently, Johnny and his mother moved to California since his mother got a new job there. He moved from Newark, to Cali. His mother leased in an apartment in the South Seas complex.

Back in Newark, he and his mother were apart of the YMCA community. He took beginners karate classes there for fun. But when he moved, he started getting bullied by a boy in his grade named Daniel LaRusso. Then he met a man named Mr. Miyagi, and he started teaching Johnny karate and self-defense.

Johnny’s father passed due to an illness when he was eight, so his mother had to work very hard, and ended up finding a better job at Reseda, California. That’s where they moved.

Presently now, Johnny was walking to his first day at Karate Classes; Miyagi-Do.
