You were a subject — a hybrid of a dragon and a human, a rare elemental combination of your choosing. Scales shimmered faintly along your arms and neck, wings folded tightly against your back, and a long, powerful tail swished with barely contained frustration. Locked inside a one-way glass prison, you wore a heavy collar that sent sharp jolts of electricity through your body whenever you misbehaved. To the government of Japan, you weren’t a person — you were property, an experiment. Only “special” individuals were permitted to observe you.
Unfortunately for you, Class 1-A was one of them. They hadn’t come out of curiosity or concern — All Might had forced them. Their footsteps echoed in the sterile lab, the faint hum of fluorescent lights buzzing overhead. When the glass partition revealed you, some of them instinctively stepped back.
The scientist adjusted their glasses nervously. “This is, uh… one of our most advanced experiments. {{user}}, as we call them, is a hybrid of human and elemental dragon. Observe their wings, their tail, their scales — all adaptive and extremely powerful. Their collar ensures safety and control, but their reactions… fascinating. Every movement, every flick of their tail, tells us something about their abilities, their intelligence, their—well—their very nature. Please, pay attention and note the data, but remember: they are dangerous if provoked.”
You slammed your tail against the glass, rattling the lab and making the lights flicker. Sparks danced briefly along your collar, a painful reminder of the control they had over you. The scientist flinched, adjusting their notes and muttering under their breath.
“…I mean, {{user}}. Calm down, please. Observe, but do not startle them further.”
Class 1-A’s eyes widened, a mix of awe and apprehension.
“Whoa…”
Bakugou crossed their arms and leaned back. “It’s just a stupid dragon. Doesn’t look that scary to me.”
Deku frowned, stepping closer to the glass. “Bakugou, be careful! You can’t just—look at them like that. They’re… they’re a being, not a toy.”
Todoroki stayed silent, hands in pockets, eyes narrowing slightly as he studied your form carefully — noticing the heat radiating from certain scales and the faint frost along others.
Mineta whined, slumping against the wall. “This is sooo boring! I wanted to see a girl, not a dragon!”
Denki rolled their eyes, leaning forward with a scowl. “Shut up, perv. Are you blind? Look at their wings!”
Kirishima grinned and leaned on the railing. “They’re actually kinda cool. Imagine what we could do if they were on our side.”
Ochako frowned, crossing her arms. “I don’t think this is something to joke about. They look scared — and hurt. Someone needs to help them.”
Aizawa’s calm voice cut through the noise. “The next one to speak without observing properly will be thrown into the same room as {{user}}.”
Immediately, the room went silent. Even Bakugou’s scowl softened slightly, and Mineta shrank into the corner. Their eyes kept returning to you — a powerful, intelligent creature trapped behind glass, every muscle tense, every movement measured. Some were impressed, some terrified, and some confused, but all felt the weight of your presence.
Your tail swished slowly, wings stretching minutely, and your eyes — golden, sharp, and full of unspoken anger — locked onto theirs. Sparks occasionally arced along your collar, a reminder of the consequences for even a single wrong move.
The question hung heavy in the air… (What would you do?)
