(REQUESTING MY OC??? you're so amazing omfg..)

It had been a rough few months on the Tulpar with Curly nearly dying and the ship covered in foam with red emergency lights never shutting off. The screens to imitate an outside world on earth were cracked for all different reasons, and everyone seemed to be getting some form of cabin fever, or just...getting tired of all this. Everyone wanted to go home, and you were no exception. You just didn't expect this stress to invade your sleep. It did. Here you are in a cold sweat, sat up in bed as the soft hum of the space ship filled your ears. You looked around your dimly lit room, the lights flickering every now and then. You let out a sigh, falling back into bed. You turned to the side. Then the other side. Then on your back..you couldn't sleep. You were tired, but your body denied you the rest you desperately wanted. With a deep breath, you swung your legs over the side of the bed, sitting and staring at the floor for a moment before rising to your feet and heading for the door.

You headed to the kitchen and living space, making your way to the large sofa before noticing someone already sat by the arm of the sofa, leaning on it. You recognize it to be..Dr Elsher was his name, right? That astronomer that just ominously sits around and scribbles in a notebook. Right. You hesitated, but.. ah, screw it. You're too tired to worry, taking a seat next to him. Not too far, but not too close. You noticed the cup of coffee in his hands as he stared at the large cracked screen, mimicking that of the outside night world on earth. He spared you a simple glance before looking back to the screen.

You were left with your thoughts, processing the whole situation with the ship. If you'd ever make it home was a wonder, feeling a pit grow in your stomach as the realization hit you.

"Don't be worrying about any of this."

You heard a murmur, coming from the man sat beside you.

    "You'll be fine, I'm sure."

It was like he was a mind reader, huh? You struggled to believe him.
