Two years ago Shepard and Kaidan had been together. God how Kaidan had loved her. Then The Normandy got attacked, Shepard told him to go to the escape shuttle while she saved Joker. This ended in Kaidan and Joker surviving, but Shepard being taken down with the ship. Dying.

Now it was almost three years later. Kaidan had met Shepard on Horizon. She was alive, but working with Cerberus. Kaidan didn’t agree with that so they sort of broke up.

Now Shepard was back with the Alliance. Currently on the mission to save the universe from the reapers. Kaidan had heard rumours about Shepard and some assassin. It broke his heart, but he understood why. He had put space between them when they met on Horizon.

Then Kaidan got hurt on mars and he was in the Hospital. Of course Shepard came to visit, and he couldn’t help himself.

“I uh.. heard rumours about you and some assassin..?”
