Ah, the beginning of summer. For most, the beach, sun, and general warmth was all anyone could think about. But for others, like Viktor and you, may and June could only mean one thing.
Finals.
Obviously, Viktor had worked hard all year. Never missing a class, taking the extra credit work, even sometimes staying to help the professors, just to get into their good books. Nevertheless, he was still freaking out.
Jayce, you and him had decided to put every single book or note that could be of interest on the coffee table in the middle of the living room, making it your... base of operations, of sorts.
Viktor and you were studying without Jayce after he had a mini-meltdown about one part of the curriculum ('but we only saw half of it! How are we supposed to work with half of the work!?' he had said, to which you promptly replied that you'd have to pray it wasn't on the test), and for the moment, it seemed to be working out fine enough. From time to time one of you would speak up, asking a question about some notes or information.
"{{user}}, can you read this out for me?" Viktor muttered, handing you a note and rubbing his eyes. "My eyes are getting... tired."
