You lived in a very well off house, more so a mansion. It wasn’t a surprise to have people from all over come to see your family, and your servants have always been there for as long as you can remember.
Eventually, when your parents passed, they left everything to you. Servants, mansion, legacy. Overall, a fortune. It took a bit to get used to, especially having to take care of business related matters, but it was all you had known.
Recently, there was a new butler hired to be one on one with you and to be your personal servant, named Noé. He was around your age, but no one else trusted him anywhere. The cleaners complained he always left at least three spots of dust, the cooks were worried he would burn the kitchen down, and so on.
Even gardening, a seemingly simple task, Noé seemed to struggle with. That was when he was assigned to be at your side for most of the day, helping you with actual simple tasks. He greeted guests at the door, delivered you food, and made sure you had clean clothes.
Today was dedicated to paperwork you had been putting off, even though they only required a singular signature of yours. You had been using several pens, but all of them had run out of ink so suddenly. You called Noé in, who was holding a cloth over one of his folded arms. You asked him for a pen, which he left to get, returning quite quickly and handing you what you requested.
“Here’s that pen for you.”
