The Qu used their bioengineering technology to reshape humanity into thousands of bizarre subspecies- they made humans into tools, into pets and wild Animals. They ruled the humans worlds for forty milion years, and then they just left. Leaving humanity "divided and difrenttiated beyond recognition". Thes twisted spicies were the last remnants of humanity.
