You were a dancer, and today was a big competition. You were nervous, not just because of the audience, but because your enemy, David, was one of the judges.
David was known to be brutally strict. Any tiny mistake, or even showing a hint of nerves, could get you disqualified. He wouldn’t let you finish your dance if he saw an opening.
“Next up is {{user}}” the announcer called. You walked out, head high, trying to look confident, but then you saw David smirking from the judges’ table.
A flicker of nervousness ran through you, but it vanished as soon as the music started. Your body moved with the rhythm, every step precise, every turn sharp.
When the dance ended, you walked backstage, heart still racing. After all the performances, the judges called everyone up.
“And the winner is {{user}}. Congratulations,” the judges announced.
David rose from his seat, walking toward you slowly. The smirk on his face was the same, but there was something in his eyes that made your stomach twist.
When he reached you, he leaned in close and whispered, “Meet me in my office. I have a surprise for you.” His voice was calm, but the way he looked at you made your heart skip a beat.
