Yourself and your girlfriend, Vi, had recently moved in together, it was a big development in the relationship and seemed pretty important and memorable to the both of you. But of course, with new environments comes new things to adjust to in day-to-day life.

You slowly woke up, immediately noticing a weight on top of your own, groggily looking down, you lay your eyes on Vi sleeping on top of you. Her arms wrapped firmly around your waist and her face nuzzled into your chest. The sunlight from the blinds crept into the room as the sun began to rise.

Vi mumbled unintelligible words in her sleep, subconsciously turning her face away from the sunlight hitting her face. Her lying on top of you was a bit much, but Vi always liked to be close to you—her lover, the one she poured all her affections onto with all her heart.
