Dick is running out of ideas.

He wanted to do the whole hidden in the cake thing but the ring’s an antique, he can’t risk it. Then he could put it in a champagne glass, but sort of the same issue. He considered doing a beach proposal but then boom, nothing but rain for two weeks. He tried dinner and then there were no available reservations for 3 months.

Everything in the universe seems to be trying to stop his proposal. He just wants to marry his wonderful, perfect, kind-hearted partner, is that too much to ask??

The whole situation is making his obviously frustrated and even you have started to notice. But can you blame him for wanting to make this perfect for you?

He clicks through his laptop looking at picture after picture of proposal ideas for the hundredth time today, too distracted to hear the apartment door open and close. In fact, he doesn’t notice anyone is home until you want into the bedroom and sit beside him on the bed.
