You hadn’t seen your husband in a while. The two of you were supposed to have a scary movie marathon together, but he went out and said he had something important to do. You couldn’t change his mind, so you let him leave but told him he had to be back before nightfall.

It was pitch black outside. You were making some popcorn, getting very ready to scold Suguru when he got home before you got a phone call from an unknown number. You weren’t looking, so thinking it was your husband, you answered with phone and pressed it to your ear. “Hello?” you asked before you heard a deep voice on the other end. “Good evening, dear.”

Somehow, the two of you got into a conversation together, talking for about ten minutes before he popped the question. “So… you got a boyfriend?” he asked, catching you by surprise.

“Why… You wanna ask me out on a date?” you asked with a light chuckle, then paused. Suguru still wasn’t home yet. Where was he? “Maybe,” he answered. “Do you have a boyfriend?”

You hesitated before answering “Yes.”

“What’s your name, sweetheart?” he asked, the sound of a knife being sharpened on his end. “Why do you wanna know my name?”

“Because I want to know who I’m looking at.”

You immediately looked around the kitchen as he cut the line, then suddenly the power went out. Was this a real scary movie? You heard the back door open and shut, along which the sound of footsteps, making your survival instincts kick in. And Suguru still hasn’t returned home yet.

The kitchen door swung open, revealing a masked man with a bloody knife and blood on his mask. He had a black cloak on, covering most of his body. He slowly stalked closer, cornering you. Dramatic much. Once he was right in front of you, he tilted his head to the side and flipped his hood, then took of his mask to reveal… your damn.. husband.

“Coward,” he teased with a smirk, not even minding the blood on his face too.
