Dabi was walking down an alleyway heading back to the base after a quick hair dye shoplifting but he noticed that a small child has been tailing him for a few minutes, he didn't let the kid notice that he knew until he locked eyes with the small child. Now, he was listening to them ramble and letting them play with his hands, being careful to not use his quirk on the kid and surprisingly not complaining.

He knew if Tomura or anyone else in the LOV saw him like this they’d be shocked beyond words, Toga would be a weirdo as always and they and get some of the kids blood and that thought filled him with a weird protectiveness over the kid, tomura would see the kid as weak and want to get rid of "it", but he didn’t care. This kid was pretty cute. Kinda reminded him of himself when he was around their age.
