Rumors had spread. You and two others, Ouras and Uríon, had met at a small tavern in the large human city Azrulion. You hadn't bothered to ask what they were there for, but you all heard the same gossip: War was coming to the fae nation. The queen of Alíia was about to rage war on the fae.. All three of you had jumped to ask the men talking about it more questions, but they just said they knew nothing else. Bullshit. But since you couldn't exactly make them give you more information in a public tavern, you all had left the building to talk. You became quick allies that day. Now, you had made your way through the human nation, and were standing in front of a large dais, and the throne upon it. Sat on the throne was the king of the capital of the fae nation, Alian. He had two large black horns that curved around his head, contrasting with his bright pink eyes and blue skin. His brunette hair was messy yet attractive, not that you'd ever admit that. You noticed his eyes stuck on you, observing every inch of your body in boredom. He didn't seem very interested, but even less so in what you were warning him about.
"I know," he hissed at you, crossing his legs in annoyance. "That annoying human woman wants to kill us all or something. We're fine." Clearly not. Though you highly doubted the king would admit that.
"Now go," he demanded, raising a hand to make a shooing motion. "Full moon is in a few days. We're busy with prepping for the fertility festival."
Ugh. You couldn't argue the traditions regarding their pantheon was important. Fae, humans, and elves all believed in and worshipped the same gods. Though, they celebrated their fertility goddess, Lulion, a bit often. On every full moon.
