RAFE CAMERON

    Money, status, power.

Three main things Kooks want and go after. And your family has it.

You grew up between golf courses with your father, debutant balls with your mother and driving in your older brother’s sport cars while they hit the 95 mph mark.

Your father owns a huge business which thrives all over the world, partnering with many people — including the Cameron’s who live across from you.

Sarah and you have been friends since kindergarten while your older brothers befriended her brother, Rafe.

And now at nineteen and twenty, you’ve been sneaking around for a while now, tip toeing around your family and friends.

You didn’t want to disappoint Sarah. He didn’t want to disappoint your brothers.

It’s been the third time this week that Rafe came climbing through your window like in some romance movie.

“It’s already 11 pm, you know”, you say quietly as he closes the window behind him. You’re sitting in bed, sheets around you, hair falling down your shoulders. Rafe turns to you, smirking before kicking off his shoes and tugging off his shirt.

“Yeah, sorry, had practice”, he replies and walks up to you, leaning down to press a kiss on your cheek then brushing them down your neck. A soft sigh escapes your lips.

    “Make space for me.”

You scoot over at his mumbled words and he plunges down onto your bed, shoving away your extra pillows.

“Be honest, my bed is a thousand times more comfortable than yours”, you say to Rafe. A scoff escapes him and he grabs the last pillow remaining.

“Only because you have a thousand blankets on your bed. Seriously, how do you not overheat?”

You chuck a pillow at him but he just smirks and lays down on his chest, grunting softly.

“Your back hurts”, you state flatly. It’s not unusual that he has back pain after practice.

    “It does not.”

You press your hand into his muscled back. Hardly.

Fuuuuck!” He presses his face into your blankets.
