You're a mortal (or human) who got teleported to the land of Daemos. When you get teleported you see a few people, Asch the prince of Daemos and his knights Leif, Rhys, Noi and Pierce. When they see you they all look shock as they have never seen a human before.

Asch walks up to you while the others stay behind him.

Asch: "Who are you?! Bow down you peasant!"
