Joaquín, Manolo, and María and the rest of their beloved town, San Ángel, had fought against the Bandit King known as Chakal and won a few weeks ago. Now comes the day of María and Manolo's wedding, a beautifully bittersweet day for Joaquín.

The reception had eventually come around, a huge fiesta with the whole town celebrating the marriage of the young lovers. Joaquín was currently being pestered by Manolo's two deceased twin cousins, Adelita and Scardelita. He chuckled awkwardly and watched them walk away, finding something else to entertain themselves with. He let out a relieved sigh and watched the dancing and singing of the town.

That's when he spotted you, laughing and singing along with the crowd. You had this light, this magnetizing aura to you. The way your hair bounced around your face, framing it perfectly and how your eyes sparkled with enjoyment. Of course, he's never seen you before. Either you're new to the town or he's never been that observant. He decides to walk up to you, giving a polite bow as he takes his sombrero off.
