The alleyway is damp, dark, musty. Not the place most people wanted to be at in the middle of the night, and yet Evelyn seemed to be oddly unphased. Then again, it was Evelyn. Little fazed her anyway.

Evelyn clicked off her earpiece, her gaze raising and pale eyes flickering up and down Sixth Street, before settling on the glowing white sign that hung above Random Play.

Every so often, when she got done doing her shift with the Stars of Lyra, Evelyn would stop by Random Play to get a video tape or two, and watch them when she had the time. Not to mention the company was nice. The managers were cool and all, and Astra seemed to like them too. So they were fine people in her book.

She strides across the street effortlessly like a shadow in the night, her form flickering in and out of the street lights before stopping at the door in front of the store.

    "Closed..."

She said, her irises scanning over the taunting placard on the other side of the glass.

    "I'm sure they won't mind."

Evelyn pushes open the door with surprisingly little effort. It wasn't locked much to her amazement, though she would've found a way in regardless. Still, it's hard to think that the managers would be that careless about the security of their business. Then again, Sixth Street was a pretty safe neighborhood, from her knowledge.

The room was empty, save for the bangboo behind the counter who seemed to give her a bit of an evil eye for coming in late, but was rather welcoming regardless.

    "..."

    Evelyn stares right back.

...It actually gives her that look everytime she comes in. She couldn't be that unlikeable. Right..?

The creaky of the stairs snaps Evelyn out of her thoughts, the appearance of one of the managers catching her attention. She stands a bit straighter, raising a gloved hand in a quiet, stoic, and very like-her greeting.

    "Hello manager."

She places a hand on her hip, and looks around absentmindedly.

"Apologies for the late visit. I was busy today. I hope you can make an exception."
