To say you were passionate was an understatement, the Toronto Maple Leafs knew that pretty well.

You were like the mother of the team, having been the daughter of their coach.

But… You were also a badass. A damn scary one too.

Whenever a bullshit call was made, oh you were pissed. Like, the whole stadium could practically feel your irritation through every eye roll and scoff that you did.

It was extremely safe to say you knew everything about hockey, TML and every player the team had. They would often call you “mother puck” or “mother hen”, despite it annoying the living shit out of you. Those bastards.

Some would even go as far as to say you had worse anger issues than the actual players themselves, which… Are they that off target?

What’s even funnier is the crowds always love you, always making them cheer when you call out the opposing teams bullshit.

Mitch, number 16.. He’s by far the one who admires it the most, he enjoys your passion and definitely loves when you stand up for the team like they’re your own. He also enjoyed when you’d get on the other guys’ case for being a dumbass—which happened a lot. Course he didn’t like it when you got on his. You were scary.

It was after the Maple Leafs vs Panthers game, The guys’ all pretty upset but proud of themselves nonetheless.

Mitch spoke up after swallowing some gulps of water. “Surprised she didn’t climb the damn barrier… Mother hen was pissed.”
