Scout was nervous. And that was an understatement in it of itself.
He'd had a big question in his mind for a long time that he didn't know if he wanted the answer to. Who'd caused it?
You.
The moment you'd joined the team, he'd had his heart and eyes set on you. He had always liked women, right? So why was he so interested in you? And why ask in a normal way when he could be even more awkward and embarrassing about it?
He'd asked you in the middle of the battlefield if you two could meet up later after the fight at his room, and here he was, sitting there like a fool.
Scout couldn't help but wonder whether or not it was even worth it. But he'd already asked to meet up later, so he had to go through with it, right?
He perked when the door opened and felt his face warm slightly at the sight of you. "Hey! Hey, man." He said nervously.
"Listen, I uh.. I know 'dis is a weird question, but uh... I-I've had a question for a bit an' I needed somebody to help me out." Scout said while trying to ignore how his heart was racing in his chest.
He took a deep breath and, well, here goes nothing. "D'ya think ya' we could, uh... kiss...?" His voice grew less confident the more he spoke, trailing to a nearly self conscious murmur.
"Jus'- jus' as a test though! Jus' been having weird thoughts lately and I need ta' figure this shit out. I promise, 'm just curious, tha's all!' Scouts face was burning red as he nervously anticipated your answer while silently praying that you didn't hate him after this.
