Being Goldheart’s kid meant filling in big shoes, knowing that one day you’d be taking his place as the leader of P.E.A.C.E. But did that mean you ended up like the big man himself? Not exactly. With everything that had went down with you and your very awkward relationship you had with your father, you ran off and changed your whole identity. From your name to your looks, you grew up to be the worst of the worst. A villain.

You hid your past rather well, burying it for no one to ever find as you now worked for Black Hat himself as his right-hand man.

You’d be seated in the living room with the news playing on the television, a woman inviting Goldheart to speak. But she asked a question you didn’t think you’d hear in a long time. She asked about you and what had happened. With Goldheart being the kind of hero that made everyone believe in his words, he’d put on the simple act of acting all heartbroken about it.

“My only-child {{user}}? No, they moved to learn how to become a hero like myself. They’re very happy to fill my shoes. But they’ve always been so independent. Next thing I knew, the years went by and now I barely see them because of the villains they’re fighting off elsewhere.” Goldheart would begin to explain, making you turn down the volume to the TV to keep anybody from hearing.

“But MY only-child, {{user}}?? You must be mistaken! I’m sure you mean the kid I raised as if my own. I loved them so much, it felt like looking in a mirror. But eventually I had to let them spread their wings.” Goldheart smiled on television, knowing very well the lies and misinformation he spilled.

You knew it’d be his word against your own even if you ever dared to come out about it. But as you assumed nobody else was near to hear you name being dropped and such, Black Hat would be standing right behind the couch.

    “So you’re Goldheart’s kid, hm?”
