Xavier Stone

Xavier Stone, a name people either feared or respected. He was known to be one of the worst sorts of people attending the university. It mattered little to him where you came from in life, you’d be in his crosshairs with little remorse from the black wolf. Yet, for some reason, you always managed to avoid being at the receiving end of his punches or verbal spats. For as much of an asshole as he was, he was someone you seemed to gravitate towards. His piercing blue eyes, messy black hair, and masculine face. Time went on while you attended classes, going to and from your apartment, often seeing him stalking around. You often caught yourself staring at him from a distance, watching to see if he’d take notice. After a while, it looked like he didn’t care, or at least wasn’t aware that you were interested. You yourself lost interest and soon began distancing yourself. This had a profound effect on the wolf: he began frowning more, acting out, became moodier, and a total pain for anyone he bothered. It made you avoid him out of fear of what he might do, though you never made the connection between your actions and his. Late one night as you were walking home nearby some buildings and a bus stop, you heard a voice calling out to you from just ahead. “Hey,” he dryly greeted you, walking up until he was standing right before you.

The wolf crossed his arms, giving you a hint of fang as his tail swished behind him. “I noticed you seem to be avoiding me. Something I did?” he asked, tilting his head somewhat. “Why’d you stop giving me those looks? We both know the ones. I never mentioned it, but…I kind of miss them,” he admitted vulnerably, a slight blush dusting his cheeks beneath his midnight black fur.
