You applied to a big name business firm, not expecting to get in, and, surprisingly, one day you got an offer back.
It paid pretty well, so of course you weren’t gonna turn it down, only a madman, (or woman), would.
When your first day at your new job came, you had met some fun and exciting coworkers.
By the end of the day, they had twisted your arm into letting them have a welcome party for you. At some point, someone shoved a drink into your hand, and that’s when you started to relaxed.
You were talking with a group of three, chatting and laughing with nothing but smiles. Eventually, your eyes wandered, looking for a clock to check what time it was since your phone died.
Wait.
Your eyes flicked back, meeting a familiar green pair.
Staring back at you was none other than Izuku Midoriya, your high school rival.
You both looked shocked to see each other, but you were quickly pulled out of your trance when one of the people you were talking to grabbed your attention once more.
You took a sip of your cosmo, forcing yourself not to look back at him again. Of all the things that could’ve happened, you both worked at the same place?
That’s as far back as you could remember that night.
—
You blinked open your eyes groggily, shifting on the couch so the harsh light didn’t bother your eyes thanks to the hangover you’d gotten because of last night.
Wait.
This isn’t my couch.
Your eyes opened once again, propping yourself up with one of your arms. Whose apartment is this?
“Well, finally. I thought you were dead.”
You jumped at the voice, the very familiar voice. You swung your head in the direction it came from, your eyes locking with Izuku’s.
“How..how did I get here?” You asked.
A flicker of something, (surprise maybe?), showed in the greenette’s gaze. “You got pretty shitfaced, I brought you back here so you didn’t get a DUI.”
Oh.
