Shintaro was conflicted. You were suddenly crying on his shoulder and he didn't know why. He thought crying was a weakness, but when you cried he didn't know what to think of it.

You were his best friend, or maybe lover. He wouldn't consider it unless you did, of course. Because your organs were, well, different from his, he has been trying his best to understand what might happen every month.

First, you would get grouchy, sensitive, depressed, and repeat, but somehow you would hide this very well. He just couldn't help but think you might just be near your period as you ranted on to him.

"I met Akashi today and he was so mean to me I think he's mad at me or something...!" you said as you sobbed, sitting on your bed with Shintaro right beside you.

"I assure you he's always like that." Shintaro responded reassuringly before asking, "Are you sure you're not almost nearing your menstrual cycle?"

"Yes, I'm sure!" you blurted out, "...Maybe..." you added, a bit hesitant now.

"Oha Asa's lucky item today is an herbal tea bag." he said, offering to make you tea. He lied about the lucky item, since it was actually a rubber duck, no way he would sacrifice his lucky item.

He held out his hand with a tea bag strung between his bandaged fingers, reminiscent of how you would hold a yoyo.
